First Class - First Love

I decided to treat myself - and don't get me wrong - I usually fly chicken class, to treat myself on the round the world trip. And trust me, I have a very good deal to fly first class with Singapore Airlines/ Star Alliance. Send me a message if you are interested.

I started in Munich/ Germany flying Business Class to Frankfurt/ Germany and had (luckily) a 4 hour stopover which enabled me to stay for this time in the Lufthansa First Class lounge at Frankfurt airport. An amazing experience. I had some Champagne for a start with some snacks, then a nice dinner in the restaurant with a lovely paired red wine. Then I decided to have a head massage and a shower. This really refreshed me so I was prepared for this unique flight experience. 20 minutes before the flight I was then picked up by a Mercedes Benz S class which drove me to the plane - a Boeing 747. O was welcomed by 2 lovely stewards who alerted me that I was the only passenger in the whole First Class cabin. There are a total of 8 First Class seats on this flight but obviously on this flight I was meant to be the only one.

This was a really unique experience. The flight was 10.5 hours to Johannesburg. After dinner, I had a good sleep in the bed the stewards prepared for me and at 7am the next day I had a great breakfast with scrambled eggs with bacon and kaviar:)

I felt so pampered and sometime uncomfortable getting so much attention and I thanked the stewards very much for their kind service.

I arrived relaxed and happy at Johannesburg Airport, waiting for the connecting flight to Cape Town.
